Our Approach
Our Technologies, Process, and Methods Achieve Long-Term Results
The most innovative technologies in the foundation and concrete raising industries.
What you can expect from us
Our proven procedures and methodologies were developed over many years until we perfected the most revolutionary technologies and procedures for raising concrete and stone foundations with the least amount of distress to fixed components, and utilities. Here’s what you can expect in order.
INSPECT
We will meet with you to inspect the deficient areas associated with concrete and foundation settlement, acquiring dimensions, elevations, potential areas of resistance, utilities, fixed components, client requests, and a schedule.
EVALUATION
We evaluate client requests, analyze site conditions data, and review any home components which could be adversely affected or affect the quality or results. As necessary, we will acquire additional data, further review acceptable distress, options, findings, and make recommendations.
DEVELOP A PLAN
Your plan will include diagrams detailing areas of distress designated for lifting, repair, or stabilization including but not limited to locations of utilities, and wall cracks.
PREPARATION
Site preparation begins with arriving onsite, on time, meeting with our client, crew introductions and job site orientation, set up safety precautions and signage for the vehicles, foam rig, pedestrians, isolating the work areas from the public, and post permitting licenses when required.
IMPLEMENT THE PLAN
Work starts by installing plastic sheeting to protect floor, walls, and furnishings. Set up laser monitoring equipment and begin corrective procedures.
MONITOR
Nothing is more important than monitoring. Not even results are more important than monitoring should the results cause distress to utilities or furnishings. Monitoring goes well beyond watching a laser. It requires watching for furnishings movement, cabinet doors opening and closing, below grade utilities, ceiling tiles, floor tile grout joints, and adjacent rooms for distress.
REMAIN FLEXIBLE
Making adjustments when needed based on experience is key to success. For example, if something occurs that creates uncertainty, we stop, re-evaluate the plan, and consult with the client.
DOCUMENT
Everything gets documented, such as the areas lifted, amount of lift, material volumes, any causes for distress, and photograph distress. All observations are written and recorded.
MEET WITH THE CLIENT
Review the work performed, verify results, and discuss any additional client requests. Clean the work areas, and remove protective measures and equipment. De-mob men and equipment.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
Provide a project summary or complete any special client requests.
