When raising foundations, with or without piers, it is imperative that no utility line damage occurs. Over time, the pipelines become brittle, can partially separate, form micro fractures, become acclimated to the distress caused by foundation settlement and are sensitive to movement. When foundations undergo lifting operations, joint separation and cracking can occur as the foundation is lifted in a manner of hours or minutes. This is why the innovative technology was developed.
